Martin
Rickman, a chartered land surveyor, had been a land surveyor for more than 30 years
and in
this time he regularly had enquiries from clients or colleagues looking for surveyors in a certain area or
with a specialist knowledge. He was aware that some geomatics professionals had
various affiliations (ICES, TSA, RICS etc)
and some didn't have any at
all and there was nowhere where all geomatics providers were listed together regardless
of size or affiliation .
Martin launched The Geomatics UK Network at the World of Geomatics Exhibition in 2001. It has been welcomed by the geomatics community as well as visitors to the site, and has gone from strength to strength.

A Geomatics Search Engine
Our aim is to list all UK
geomatics-based businesses, irrespective of size and affiliations, and to
present the information to visitors to the site such that they can search by
geographical location or specialist services/products.

Access to the site will be free
to both visitors and subscribers, therefore no user names or passwords are
required.

web-site, as we will insert an active hyperlink.
Subscriptions
All entries are charged at £40 plus
VAT per year for each separate geographical office location irrespective of
size and the number of specialist services.

This web site will enable
visitors to find the specific geomatics business that offers the required speciality in
the location that is closest of their project.

this site - you can simply register on-line using our registration form. This
